Odessa Weekend

It was a nice weekend but not so nice if you were a mustang wanting a good home. Only 2. Yes I said 2 horses were all that were adopted. One was reasigned. I hope that more people will be at the Spokane adoption in 2 1/2 weeks. There were some really nice horses there. I get so excited when I think about the first adoption that we stopped in at in Ellensburg. The were skinny, big headed little horses. Thru the excellent care the BLM gives to the herds, adoptions and so one the horses get better each year.

We brought home 2 yearlings from Beattys Butte to gentle and take to the Pasco adoption in June. I got both of them to smell my hand today. Tomorrow we will get down to work in earnest. I call them Nick and Nellie. When they are adopted they will get new names but I had to call them something.
